KHAMIS MUSHAYT — Five expatriates, including Bangladeshi and Sudanese nationals, were arrested in Khamis Mushayt in the Asir region for their involvement in fraudulent acts related to a fake Hajj campaign. The Khamis Mushayt police referred them to the Public Prosecution after taking the necessary legal action against them.

The five-member gang was found involved in posting misleading Hajj campaign advertisements on social media, claiming to provide housing and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites in Makkah.

The Public Security called on citizens and expatriates to adhere to Hajj regulations and instructions, and to report any violations by calling the number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province and the number 999 in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
