Saudi Gazette report

JEDDAH — The King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) has called on domestic pilgrims to issue their boarding passes online before coming to the airport.

It has also called on the domestic pilgrims to book the airline tickets through carriers' websites and apps.

KAIA indicated that this decision comes to facilitate the travel procedures for travelers and to avoid congestion and their stay in long waiting periods due to the operational peak at the airport and the season of pilgrims returning from Hajj.

It is noteworthy that the pilgrims who are in a hurry have concluded their Hajj rituals Monday, and left Makkah after they flocked to the Grand Mosque and performed the Tawaf Al-Wada (the farewell circumambulation.

The pilgrims, who are not in a hurry, will complete their rituals with the Tawaf Al-Wada Tuesday.
