12,000 new jobs by Saudizing marketing, admin support jobs from April 2022

Saudi Arabia has decided to Saudize jobs in the marketing and administrative support fields effective from April 1, 2022 and it is expected to create more than 12,000 jobs for Saudi men and women. SR5,500 will be the minimum salary to calculate hiring one Saudi person under the Nitaqat Saudization program.

Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi issued a ministerial decision under which 30 percent of the marketing professions shall be Saudized by all private sector establishments that employed five or more workers in the marketing professions.

The marketing professions that cover under the new Saudization decision include the following: manager, marketing specialist, advertising and public relations manager, marketing sales expert, advertising designer, and commercial advertising photographer.

The new decision of Saudization is in continuation of the ministry’s efforts to provide appropriate and stimulating work environment for male and female citizens, and to expand the circle of their participation in the local employment market.

The ministry issued a procedural guide that explains the details of the Saudization decision and the mechanisms necessary for its implementation to ensure the compliance of the establishments.

Penalties shall be taken against the violating establishments. The ministry will also provide packages of incentives and extend support to private sector establishments in their drive to employ Saudis.
