Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — Registration has opened for the Digital Filmmaker Program launched by the Saudi Film Commission.

The program, which will be conducted virtually by the British Film Institute (BFI), seeks to provide learning and training opportunities to professionals as well as amateurs in film production.

Those who are interested to join the program can register themselves by accessing the link https://engage.moc.gov.sa./film_talents.

The program is part of the Ministry of Culture’s efforts toward the realization of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.

Through the program, the commission aims to give local film producers the knowledge and tools to help contribute to the improvement of the Saudi film industry and take it to higher professional levels.

Apart from the BFI, leading global film production institutes like the School of Cinema-Television at the University of Southern California (USC) and the Creative Media Skills Institute (CMS) at Pinewood in the UK will train and polish the local filmmakers.
