Saudi Arabia has 6,600 licensed lawyers including 561 women

RIYADH —
There are as many as 6,600 registered lawyers in the Kingdom including 561 women, the Justice Ministry has revealed.

It said the Legal Training Center has organized a number of training sessions within its programs to further qualify the lawyers and prepare them to obtain the licenses to practice law.

The ministry said as many as 6,292 lawyers attended these sessions including 2,134 female trainees.

Through its e-portal, the ministry is extending various services to the lawyers including registration to attend training sessions and obtaining licenses to practice law.
