Huawei unveiling several innovations globally this week

EC3000 interactive 4K cloud-link board, two artificial intelligence microchips, Huawei intelligent cloud hardware platform, and Mate 20 and Mate 20 pro are some of the innovations that Huawei has unveiled this week in different technology events globally.

During the third day of Gitex week that has been held in World Trade Center in Dubai, Huawei presented the EC3000 interactive 4K cloud-link board, with powerful 256-core artificial intelligence chip inside that allows speech recognition, face detection, facial recognition, leveraging high definition video conference, which makes it the person one-stop communication and collaboration platform.

Huawei, also in the same event, had released two artificial intelligence microchips, Ascend 910 and Ascend 310. According to Huawei officials, the new chips that are designed and manufactured by the company, will help in enhancing the quality of services and results of the company’s innovations, including the intelligent video analytics innovation. The products that are shown in the booth focus on artificial intelligence.

Huawei intelligent cloud hardware platform, for the edge with Huawei Atlas 500 platform, was another innovation that was launched during Gitex week. It was mentioned that these platforms would be very beneficial in enhancing the services and work of smart cities, smart transportation, and smart manufacturing.

It was mentioned that the intelligent computing platform integrates various forms of products, such as modules, cards, boards, edge stations, and appliances, to build an all-scenario AI infrastructure covering the end, edge, and cloud.

Huawei this week also released the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro in London on Tuesday. The company, before the launching of the new Mates, announced that these devices will have a special feature, which is having the latest top-end processor, the Kirin 980. Another special feature of the device would be having three cameras and it was mentioned that these mobiles would also have an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
