The UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances, which is pressing governments to provide information, still has nearly 43,000 open cases from 84 countries, with more than one-third of them from Iraq.

It has been widely reported in the media that women voters were systematically barred from casting their votes in a number of Pakistan’s Lower Dir constituencies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.

With regard to the report “My doors are open, says Crown Prince” (May 18), we appreciate the Crown Prince’s gesture toward the nation’s citizen by announcing that his doors are always open for solving their problems.

I am writing with regard to the report “Arab Israeli ‘Nakba’ descendants return to village in Upper Galilee”(May 16).
