Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah Region, continues his annual inspection trip to the region’s governorates on Monday when he will visit Qunfuda and Al-Laith governorates.
The committee in charge of auctioning villas at the Iskan housing project in Makkah’s Rusaifa district has revealed that about 20 residential units will be re-auctioned.
The unchecked increase in the price of real estate is a problem that was previously blamed on a shortage of vacant plots of land which some officials have used as an excuse to not carry out residential projects.
While a record number of Saudi tourists spent their summer vacation abroad this year, an equally large number opted to stay in the Kingdom with Jeddah being the No. 1 choice.
