Saudi GazetteJEDDAH – A teacher held in terrorism-related charges went on trial in the Specialized Penal Court in Riyadh Tuesday.

He has been accused of taking students on excursions and training them in Al-Qaeda camps. The teacher allegedly taught them the use of weapons and tried recruiting them for Al-Mobaraz Cell.

Another suspect has been accused of giving people’s charity to terrorist organizations. In his Friday sermons, the man would talk about poverty and encourage people to donate money for the poor. But he allegedly used that money to support Al-Qaeda.
