TAIF – Minister of Education Prince Khaled Al-Faisal announced that a committee has been constituted to address the problems of veteran women graduates in the Kingdom.

“Giving jobs to these graduates is one of the prime concerns of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, and hence the committee has been formed in line with the directives of the King,” he told a group of women graduates who met him at his office here on Sunday.

Prince Khaled has assured the graduates that their problems would be solved soon. The women graduates gathered in front of the ministry in their bid to find a placement after several years of waiting.

Speaking to Okaz/Saudi Gazette, Noura Al-Otaibi, spokesperson of the graduates, said that Prince Khaled assured them that he will take their voice to the King.

“The words of Prince Khaled were heartening as we were in search of a job since several years. He has raised our hope that now we will get a job,” she said.

During the meeting with Prince Khaled, Al-Otaibi said, the delegation presented a number of proposals and solutions to their long standing problem.

“We are not at against taking up any administrative jobs as we have already spent several years in waiting to secure one of our basic rights and the fruit of our efforts.

“Securing this right is still a dream,” she said, noting that some of them completed graduation 23 years ago.
