Human trafficker caught with 16 illegals

Al-Baha Police arrested a Saudi driver who was trying to smuggle 16 people into major cities of the region on Saturday.

BAHA — Al-Baha Police arrested a Saudi driver who was trying to smuggle 16 people into major cities of the region on Saturday. A patrol team grew suspicious of a minibus carrying a number of people. When the officers asked the driver to pull up, he sped away. Police gave chase and finally succeeded in stopping the minibus. The officers found the people on board were without any legal identification documents. Police arrested the driver and transferred the illegals to the deportation center.
