INDEX 2013 opens today

Adnan Mandourah, secretary general of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), and Dr. Ghazi Bin Saeed Alabasy, general secretary of Saudi Council of Engineers, will inaugurate the second edition of the three-day INDEX Interior Design and Furniture Exhibition, Saudi Arabia.

JEDDAH – Adnan Mandourah, secretary general of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI),  and Dr. Ghazi Bin Saeed Alabasy, general secretary of Saudi Council of Engineers, will inaugurate the second edition of the three-day INDEX Interior Design and Furniture Exhibition, Saudi Arabia (INDEX KSA) today (Tuesday) at 4 p.m. at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events. The opening will also be attended by Mazen Baterji and under the patronage of Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel, president of JCCI.



INDEX hosts more than 150 exhibitors from 20 countries, including France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Egypt and Jordan that will showcase furniture, residential and commercial interiors, kitchen & bathroom, lighting, outdoor living, surfaces and finishes and textiles products. The event will wind up on Thursday.



Ahmed Daraghmeh, Marketing and PR manager of M.I.C.E Arabia for Exhibitions and Conferences, organizers of INDEX Exhibition, confirmed that visiting the exhibition is free of charge. Visitors can register onsite during the exhibition which will run free design seminars for interior design and architecture professionals.



Another exciting feature of the second INDEX KSA show is the Trend Tour, a self-guided tour that helps visitors navigate the show at their leisure and spot the most interesting and trendiest pieces on display at the fair.
