RIYADH —
Saudi Arabia strongly condemned, in the strongest terms, the Israeli occupation of the Gaza Strip, denouncing what it described as deliberate acts of starvation, brutality, and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “The inhumane ideas and decisions adopted by the Israeli occupation authorities without deterrence once again confirm their disregard for the deep emotional, historical, and legal connection of the Palestinian people to this land, and for their rightful claim to it in accordance with international laws and humanitarian principles.”

The Kingdom warned that the continued inability of the international community and the UN Security Council to halt Israeli attacks and violations would undermine the foundations of the international order, threaten regional and global peace and security, and risk catastrophic consequences that could embolden genocide and forced displacement.

Saudi Arabia stressed that these ongoing crimes require decisive and firm international action to end the humanitarian catastrophe facing the Palestinian people and to advance the internationally supported two-state solution, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, in line with relevant UN resolutions.
