RIYADH — Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir received a delegation of Indian parliamentarians led by Member of Parliament and Prime Minister’s Special Envoy Baijayant Jay Panda.
The two sides discussed relations between Saudi Arabia and India. They explored ways to further strengthen them, as well as reviewing topics of mutual interest.
The All-Party delegation from India, comprising serving members of parliament, former minister and former foreign secretary of India, arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday for a three-day visit. The high-level visit has been organized in the context of India’s continued efforts to address the issue of cross-border terrorism and to carry forth policy of zero tolerance towards any form of terrorism.
The delegation members include parliament members Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, Asaduddin Owaisi, and Satnam Singh Sandhu, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, and former Indian diplomat Harsh Vardhan Shringla.
