Saudi Gazette report

MAKKAH Commander of the Hajj Security Forces, Major General Abdullah Al-Quraish, reaffirmed that all security and traffic plans for the 2025 Hajj season are being fully implemented to maintain order and ensure the safety of pilgrims across Makkah and the holy sites.

He emphasized that no one will be permitted to perform Hajj without a valid permit, and security forces will act decisively against any violations of Hajj regulations.

Violators will be subject to the penalties previously announced, in line with the Kingdom’s zero-tolerance approach to unauthorized entry and attempts to disrupt the pilgrimage.

In coordination with relevant authorities, the security forces are working to guarantee the smooth movement of pilgrims and secure the roads leading into Makkah. Security control centers at the city’s entry points and along major Hajj routes are operating around the clock.

These centers are equipped with advanced AI technologies and staffed by qualified personnel to monitor, detect, and respond swiftly to any irregularities.

Al-Quraish underlined that ensuring Hajj security is a key national responsibility and a source of pride for Saudi Arabia.

He said the Kingdom is committed to delivering a safe, peaceful, and organized pilgrimage experience that reflects its role as the custodian of Islam’s holiest sites.
