YANBU — The first groups of pilgrims arrived on Friday at Prince Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Yanbu, coming from several countries, including Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Sudan. This comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to receive pilgrims and facilitate their arrival to perform their Hajj rituals this year.

The pilgrims were received by officials from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and several related authorities, as well as several volunteer teams.

Mazen Al-Ghamdi, director of the Yanbu airport unit of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, said that the extensive preparations that preceded the pilgrims' arrival included coordination with various agencies operating at the airport to ensure swift completion of procedures and providing the best services. He noted that teams are working around the clock to serve pilgrims and facilitate their movement with ease and convenience.
