LONDONThe Heritage Commission will take part in London Craft Week 2025 — one of the world’s premier cultural events celebrating crafts — from May 13 to 18 in the British capital, showcasing Saudi Arabia’s rich handicraft traditions with a contemporary creative twist.

As part of the Kingdom’s broader cultural diplomacy efforts, the Commission will feature Sadu weaving in innovative modern designs, merging traditional aesthetics with global craft trends.

The initiative also aligns with the national celebration of The Year of Handicrafts 2025.

The exhibition aims to provide visitors with a visually immersive experience that reflects Saudi cultural identity through heritage-based craft forms presented with renewed creativity.

By highlighting the cultural and economic value of Saudi handicrafts, the Heritage Commission seeks to increase global awareness, support Saudi artisans, and connect them with international markets to boost the sector’s sustainability.

This participation underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to preserving and promoting its intangible heritage, transferring knowledge to future generations, and enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a regional and international cultural leader.
