Saudi Gazette report

JEDDAH —
The National Center of Meteorology has forecast light to moderate rainfall over several parts of the Makkah region — including Makkah city, Al-Jumum, Bahrah, Khulais, Jeddah, and Rabigh — on Saturday and Sunday.

In response, the Civil Defense has urged the public to exercise caution, adhere to safety instructions, and avoid areas prone to flooding.

In its weather report issued Friday, the center also predicted moderate to heavy thunderstorms in parts of Madinah, Al-Qassim, Hail, Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders, and the northern areas of the Eastern Province. These conditions may lead to flash floods and will likely be accompanied by hail and strong winds that stir dust and reduce visibility.

Lighter rainfall is also expected in some areas of Riyadh, Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan.

Authorities continue to monitor conditions closely and have advised citizens and residents to stay updated through official channels.
