Saudi Red Crescent air ambulance rescues injured camel herder in Qassim desert

BURAIDAH —
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Qassim region deployed its air ambulance in response to an emergency call reporting the injury of a resident working as a camel herder in a remote desert area north of the region.

According to details provided by the Saudi Red Crescent’s Qassim operations center, a citizen placed the emergency call at 1:25 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, reporting the case near the Al-Bu'itha mine.

In response, a team from the Qibah ambulance center immediately set out to provide first aid on-site and established a safe landing zone in the desert for the air ambulance.

The Authority remains committed to delivering rapid emergency services, utilizing all available resources to ensure quick response times and save lives across Saudi Arabia.
