Iraqi PM calls Saudi Crown Prince to discuss efforts for de-escalation in the region

RIYADH Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received on Tuesday a phone call from Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani.

During the call, the two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region and the efforts exerted to prevent the deterioration of the situation and spare the region the risks of escalation.

They reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields. A number of issues of common interest were also figured in their talks.
