JAKARTA Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Cabinet, and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir represented Saudi Arabia at the inauguration ceremony of Prabowo Subianto as president of Indonesia, held in Jakarta on Sunday.

Al-Jubeir conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to President Subianto. The King and the Crown Prince extended their hopes for continued growth, progress, and prosperity for the government and people of Indonesia.

Al-Jubeir also delivered a written message from King Salman to the Indonesian president. Former General Prabowo Subianto was inaugurated Sunday as the eighth president of the world’s most populous Muslim-majority nation, succeeding Joko Widodo.
