RIYADH —
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz is undergoing medical tests on Sunday evening, following recommendations from the Royal Clinics due to lung inflammation, the Royal Court announced in a statement.

The Royal Court's statement expressed prayers for King Salman's health, saying, "May Allah protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and grant him health and wellness."

In May 2024, King Salman completed medical examinations at the Royal Clinics of Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, where he was diagnosed with a lung infection. At that time, the Royal Court stated that the King's medical team had prescribed a treatment program consisting of antibiotics, which he underwent at Al-Salam Palace until his recovery.
