NEW YORK —
Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Tuesday led the Kingdom's delegation at the opening of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week in New York City.

The delegation included Princess Reema bint Bandar, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States; Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Envoy for Climate; Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs; Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the United Nations; and Abdulrahman Aldawood, Director General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During the Assembly, the delegation will participate in various official meetings aimed at strengthening international multilateral action.

Discussions will focus on regional and international developments, efforts to establish peace and security, and joint initiatives to achieve sustainable development goals.
