Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH —
Al Nassr officially announced the termination of its contract with Portuguese head coach Luis Castro, just hours after the team's match in the AFC Champions League.

Castro's tenure at Al Nassr began in July of last year, during which he led the team to victory in the King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs. However, he faced challenges in local competitions, ending the season without any trophies and exiting the AFC Champions League.

This season has not been ideal for Castro, particularly after losing to traditional rivals Al Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final. The series of disappointing results ultimately marked the end of his journey with the club.
