MADINAH The search and rescue teams of the Border Guards in the Yanbu sector of the Madinah Region have rescued two Bangladeshi nationals following the sinking of their boat, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

They received first aid and were then transported to a nearby hospital by the concerned authorities.

The General Directorate of Border Guards called on the public to be compliant with maritime safety guidelines, including monitoring weather conditions, exercising caution during adverse weather, and ensuring the seaworthiness of vessels before sailing.

The directorate urged to contact over phone No. 911 in the Makkah and Eastern Province regions or 994 in the rest of the Saudi regions in cases of emergency situations.
