JEDDAH —
Al-Ahli, a Saudi Pro League contender, has officially signed 21-year-old Brazilian player Alexander from Fluminense, marking the club's first acquisition of a player born in 2003 during the current summer transfer window.

After signing with Al-Ahli, Alexander commented, "Some decisions require careful thought and no hesitation. In Brazil, football is in our blood, and the roar of the crowd is our fuel on the pitch. I've seen Al-Ahli's fans and their support for the players; they remind me of the stands in Brazil in every way, which is why I decided to be here."

The Brazilian concluded his first message to the fans with "Let's create achievements together."

Meanwhile, Al-Ahli's head coach Matthias Jaissle is working to prepare Alexander to be part of the squad for their Saudi Pro League opener against Al-Orobah on Friday.
