WASHINGTON — Saudi Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Majed Al-Hogail, inaugurated the Sakani Program Exhibition on Monday at the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Washington.
The exhibition is part of the Minister's official visit to the United States, aimed at exploring partnership opportunities in the municipal and housing sectors between the two countries.
The Sakani Program Exhibition is designed to provide Saudi families residing in the United States with comprehensive housing solutions and financing options. These include ready-made residential units, off-plan residential units within integrated communities, and self-construction for those owning land.
The exhibition showcases the advanced digital services of the “Sakani” platform, such as immediate eligibility, real estate consulting, engineering designs, and licensing, all aimed at simplifying the homeownership process for beneficiaries.
Accompanied by Dr. Tahani Al-Baiz, the Saudi Cultural Attaché in the U.S., Minister Al-Hogail toured the exhibition and emphasized the importance of delivering integrated services to Saudi families abroad.
He also engaged with Saudi students on scholarships, discussing their perspectives on housing, urban development, and municipal services.
The Minister commended the students for their innovative ideas and wished them success in their academic endeavors.
