Commander of Royal Saudi Air Force attends International Air Show in UK

LONDON —
Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force, Lt. Gen. Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz, attended the opening of the International Air Show (RIAT2024) held at Fairford Base in the United Kingdom.

Lt. Gen. Turki also led the Ministry of Defense delegation participating in the Centenary Reception of the Royal Canadian Air Force, which was held at the High Commission of Canada in London, and he is participating in the Global Aviation Chiefs Conference (GASCC).

During his visit, Lt. Gen. Turki toured the exhibition pavilions and watched the air shows, accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Defense.

He also visited the Royal Saudi Air Force pavilion, which included a corner dedicated to Saudi falcons, showcasing the team’s achievements over 25 years through various technologies, including virtual reality (VR).

On the sidelines of the exhibition, Lt. Gen. Turki held meetings with the Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, Lt. Gen. David Alvin, and the Chief of Staff of the British Air Force, Lt. Gen. Richard Kington. During these meetings, the existing relations were reviewed, and topics of common interest were discussed.
