MAKKAH — Saudi Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif met Iraqi Minister of Interior Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir Kamel Al-Shammari at the ministry’s office in Makkah on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the Iraqi minister expressed his appreciation of Saudi Arabia’s great efforts in serving pilgrims and providing facilities that enable the guests of Allah to perform the Hajj pilgrimage in ease, security, and peace of mind.

The ministers discussed ways to further strengthen existing security cooperation between the interior ministries of the two countries. They also reviewed issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
