CST governor inspects ICT readiness at King Abdulaziz International Airport for Hajj 2024

Dr. Mohammed Altamimi, the Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), inspected the readiness of the ICT sector at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on Monday. The visit aims to enhance the services provided to pilgrims during the Hajj season of 2024.

Eng. Mazen Johar, CEO of Jeddah Airport, accompanied Dr. Altamimi during the inspection, which covered all arrival halls designated for pilgrims from various destinations.

The inspection also included checking telecom company sales outlets to ensure they are adequately prepared to meet the needs of pilgrims for SIM cards, internet access, and related services.

Dr. Altamimi concluded his tour by emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in providing top-notch ICT services, in line with the leadership’s directives to facilitate pilgrims' experiences and manage the season’s crowds effectively.

He expressed sincere appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their unwavering support in ensuring the comfort of pilgrims.
