RIYADH — The Saudi National Bank has officially announced on Wednesday the appointment of Tareq Abdulrahman Al Sadhan as its Chief Executive Officer, with the appointment set to take effect from May 1, 2024. This strategic move comes after receiving a Non-Objection from The Saudi Central Bank, marking a significant milestone in the bank's leadership trajectory.

Al Sadhan brings to the table over 25 years of comprehensive experience spanning the public and private sectors. His expertise covers a broad spectrum of disciplines, including auditing, taxation, administrative and financial consulting, and extensive involvement in banking operations. Al Sadhan's distinguished career is marked by his tenure in various leadership roles across multiple organizations, most notably serving as the Chief Executive Officer for Riyad Bank.

Al Sadhan's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Executive Business Administration from the prestigious Ecole Nationale Des Ponts University in France and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from King Saud University. Further elevating his professional stature, Al Sadhan is a fellow of both the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. — SG
