RIYADH — Dr. Hisham Aljadhey, CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), has held discussions with officials from US companies across the food, drug, medical devices, and equipment sectors.

These engagements, taking place on the sidelines of the 25th session of the International Medical Device Regulators Forum (IMDRF), focused on the SFDA's roles, responsibilities, and its support for the private sector amidst the Kingdom's burgeoning development opportunities.

Key topics included the localization of the pharmaceutical industry, food safety, and genetic technologies, underscoring the SFDA's commitment to fostering investment opportunities and addressing industry challenges.
