RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman made a phone call with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on Monday.

During the call, they reviewed aspects of Saudi-American strategic relations, areas of joint cooperation between the ministries of defense of the two countries and ways to further enhance them.

Prince Khalid and Austin discussed regional and international developments and the efforts made to address them. They stressed the importance of de escalating the situation in order to achieve security and stability of the region.
