PARIS — 130 countries have thrown their weight behind Riyadh's bid to host Expo 2030, according to Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan.

“You have all acted as indispensable partners, providing insight, feedback and support throughout the Kingdom's campaign,” Prince Faisal said.

Expressing gratitude for the widespread support, Prince Faisal conducted a final review of the Kingdom's bid ahead of Tuesday's crucial vote.

Highlighting the proposed theme for Expo 2030 in Riyadh, "The Era of Change: Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow," Prince Faisal emphasized Saudi Arabia's dedication to forging innovative paths for collective action and collaboration.

“I'd also like to thank the competing bids of Busan and Rome for providing diverse visions that enriched this process.”

“We have sought to share with you every step of the way our vision and plans for making real Expo 2030 a reality that delivers on its promises and commitments of opportunity, inclusivity, accessibility and sustainability,” Prince Faisal said.

He reaffirmed the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to collaborate with all nations to deliver an Expo built by the world for the world and to find new pathways for collective action and collaboration.

“We view our partnerships as central to our plans to enhance the Expo's role as a truly global platform, one which showcases diverse cultures and achievements, contributes to advancing development, prosperity and collective and collective action on the many challenges the world faces today,” he added.
