RIYADH — The Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) Turki Bin Abdullah Al-Jawini said that the total disbursement amounts for the training, employment and empowerment programs provided by the fund to the private sector's establishments amounted to SR6.9 billion until the end of the Q3 of 2023.

He said that there are about 97,000 establishments operating in all the vital sectors in Saudi Arabia that have benefited from the HADAF's programs and products.

Al-Jawini made the remarks on Tuesday while participating at the 7th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative, which was held in Riyadh.

He indicated that the fund, like other sectors, enjoys a great care from the Saudi wise leadership in order to develop the skills and capabilities of Saudis, increase their participation in the labor market, stimulate the private sector to contribute in localization.

This is in addition to enhance partnerships with the relevant authorities in training, employing and empowering the national cadres, as well as raising their competitiveness and sustainability in the labor market.

HADAF's new strategy, which was launched in the Q1 of 2023, has contributed in strengthening the benefit of individuals and establishments from the Fund’s programs and services, he said.

Al-Jawini confirmed that the Fund will continue its efforts to keep pace with the changes in the labor market, as well as to take into account the needs and priorities related with the sectors.

It will also work on developing the supporting programs of training, empowerment and guidance that are directed to the national cadres in a way that contribute in achieving the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 in developing the human capabilities and the labor market strategy, he stated.
