RIYADH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman conveyed the Kingdom's firm stance against the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza during a phone conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Emphasizing the need to exert every possible effort to de-escalate tensions and prevent the spread of violence, the Crown Prince highlighted key measures such as the importance to lift the blockade on Gaza.

He also called for the provision of medical and relief assistance to the coastal enclave.

In a separate call with French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday, the Crown Prince reiterated the importance of concerted efforts to mitigate escalation and avert the broader ramifications of violence, emphasizing the potential threats to the security and stability of the region and the world.

Expressing staunch opposition to the targeting of civilians, the Crown Prince called for a halt to military operations against both civilians and infrastructure.

He underscored the significance of adhering to international humanitarian law and stressed the need to create conducive conditions for restoring stability and achieving a lasting peace that culminates in the establishment of a Palestinian state.
