JAKARTA — Minister of Defense of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto welcomed on Tuesday Saudi Arabia's Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman at Halim Perdanakusumah International Airport in Jakarta.

Upon arrival at the headquarters of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, Prince Khalid held a meeting with his Indonesian counterpart, during which they reviewed relations between the two countries.

The two ministers discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation in the defense and military fields, and ways to enhance and develop them. Prince Khalid and Subianto also discussed a number of topics of common interest.

Heads of several Indonesian defense companies presented to the Saudi defense minister details of their companies' capabilities and expertise, as well as their latest products in the defense field.

The meeting was attended by officials from both sides.
