The Royal Malaysian Customs Department has foiled an attempt to smuggle 302.2 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a container with soybeans coming from a country, in cooperation with Saudi Arabia.

RIYADH — The Royal Malaysian Customs Department has foiled an attempt to smuggle 302.2 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a container with soybeans coming from a country, in cooperation with Saudi Arabia.

Ministry of Interior Security spokesman Col. Talal Bin Shalhoub said that the security forces' monitoring of the criminal activities of networks trafficking narcotics shared information about with the operation with the Malaysian counterparts.



The spokesman highlighted the positive cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia in tracking and seizing narcotic substances.

He stressed that the Kingdom continues to pursue criminal activities targeting its security and youth with drugs across the world, combat such networks, thwart their attempts and arrest the individuals involved. — SPA
