44 people injured as bus overturns on Makkah-Riyadh Road

RIYADH — The Civil Defense and the Saudi Red Crescent received a report indicating the existence of a passenger bus accident on the Makkah-Riyadh Road, which resulted in the injury of 44 people.

The Saudi Red Crescent in the Riyadh region received a report stating that a passenger bus had overturned between Al-Humiyat and Al-Khasrah.

Ten ambulance teams and 6 teams from the Health Affairs Department immediately went to the accident site.

They noted that the 44 injured passengers suffered separate injuries, 36 of them were transported to the health facilities in the regions of Al-Ruwaidhah, Al-Khasrah, Afif and Dhalm. While the rest 10 cases were given treatment on site.
