Police arrest Saudi for publishing false information affecting public order

KHOBAR — Police in Khobar Governorate have arrested a citizen for publishing a video with false information affecting public order.

The citizen violated Saudi Arabia's Anti-Cyber Crime Law by documenting visual content with false information and publishing it through social media platforms.

Public Security stated on its official account on Twitter that information in the visual content would prejudice public order.

The citizen was arrested and referred to Public Prosecution after preliminary questioning.
