Grand Equestrian Championships to kick off with Crown Prince Cups

RIYADH — Under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, the 72nd ceremony of the Horse Racing Club Season will be held on Dec. 17.

It will kick off the major championships of the first category with the "Two Crown Prince Cups" in 57th edition at King Abdulaziz Racetrack in Al-Janadriyah for horses produced "locally" and "imported. Each race will carry a prize money of a million riyal.

On this occasion, Prince Bandar Bin Khaled Al-Faisal, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Equestrian Authority and chairman of the Board of Directors of the Horse Racing Club, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince for their support.

He stated that the Crown Prince's patronage of the grand ceremony is equivalent to a great honor for the equestrian community, on top of the Crown Prince's great support for horse racing in particular and equestrian sports in general.

It also showed that Saudi equestrianism has advanced at the international level with the Crown Prince's ongoing support and directives. — SPA
