RIYADH — Majid Al-Shehri, the spokesperson of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) said that merging of Tawakklna with Tawakklna services apps is under study.

Speaking to Al-Ekhbariya, he confirmed that there is no decision till this moment of merging the two apps, while noting that both of the apps are working in accordance with what it has been designed for.

More than 13.7 million beneficiaries in Saudi Arabia are interacting with Tawakalna Services app and more than 2 billion operations were conducted in 2022. More than 27 million Umrah permits were issued.

Additionally, more than 500,000 organ donors have been registered in the app, as well as more than 192,000 operations conducted in the services of Ambulance Request and SOS.

It is noteworthy that Tawakkalna Services and Nafath apps topped the list of the most downloaded apps in Saudi Arabia through the App store in 2022. It has been among the top 5 of most downloaded apps in Google Play.
