Al-Bunyan: Conference to promote sustainable innovative organizations

RIYADH — Minister of Education Yousef Bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan inaugurated here Wednesday the activities of the Sustainable Partnerships Conference entitled “Research and Innovation towards a Prosperous Economy”.

Local and international experts as well as 150 decision-makers are participating in the event, which is being held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh.

In his opening speech, the Al-Bunyan welcomed the ministers and conference's guests from the public and private sectors, praising the participation of many Saudi ministries and universities as well as local and international industrial companies.

Al-Bunyan stressed that the education, research and innovation sector enjoys generous support from the wise leadership to develop the education system, pointing out to the active role of universities in contributing to achieving the goals of research and innovation in the Kingdom.

The conference is keen to promote the building and sustainability of innovative organizations and urge cooperation between various universities and sectors in the field of artificial intelligence, research and innovation in emerging technologies.

The conference is set to discuss the mechanism of success of physical and legislative research partnerships to achieve economic development, as well as how to benefit from graduation projects and build research and innovative relationships with the public and private sectors.

The conference will also address the role of scientific research in the prosperity of the economy and national development and clarify the role of scientific research institutions in promoting innovation. — SPA
