RIYADH — Minister of Defense Prince Khalid Bin Salman has made a phone call to the Iraqi Minister of Defense Thabet Muhammad Al-Absi.

Prince Khalid congratulated Al-Absi on the occasion of his appointment as minister of defense of the Republic of Iraq.

During the phone call, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed the development of cooperation and coordination in the defense field.

They also discussed ways of enhancing the relations to serve the interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest. — SPA
