DJ Loush to perform at World Cup opening ceremony

JEDDAH — Saudi-born musician DJ Loush will perform at the opening ceremony of World Cup 2022 in Qatar, according to a press statement received by Saudi Gazette.

Theopening ceremony will take place on November 20 at the60,000-capacity Al-Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, 35 km north of Doha, one of the seven venues built for the tournament.

Loush will perform at the World Cup opening act alongside legends like David Guetta and Hardwell.

Born in Saudi Arabia, Loush built his way up from local to international gigs all around the globe after discovering his passion for music and mixing at a young age. Though his given name at birth is Ali, he is known among his friends and within the music scene as DJ Loush.

Loush followed his passion to end up performing with some of the top artists in the world in and outside of the Kingdom. He has more than 230 shows performed in 27 cities, 40 plus recorded sets and more than 50 collaborations with well-known musicians and artists from around the world to his credit.

His collaborations include performances with such legends asWael Kufouri, Elissa, Tamer Hussni, Mohammed Hamaai, Rabeh Sager, Amr Diab and Miriam Faress.

Loush was featured at events and locations like Pacha, Space, White, MDLBEAST 2019, MDLBEAST 2021, F1 Race KSA 2021, F1 Race KSA 202, Dakar Rally closing ceremony and Cane Loins Awards festival.

In addition to the World Cup opening, his upcoming events include MDLBEAST 2022. — SG
