Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan expressed Saudi Arabia's thanks and appreciation for the support of Philippines for the Kingdom's candidacy to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh.

President of the Philippines Bongbong Marcos received Prince Faisal at the Presidential Palace, during his official visit to the Philippines.

Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince to the President, the Government and people of the Philippines, and wishes for continued success and prosperity.

President Marcos conveyed his greetings and appreciation to King Salman and the Crown Prince, and the government and people of the Kingdom.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries based on friendliness and joint cooperation in various fields.

Prince Faisal also met with met with Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Philippines Enrique Manalo. They discussed strengthening bilateral coordination in political, security and economic fields and ways to enhance the efforts of the two countries in combating terrorism and extremism and supporting everything that would contribute to maintaining international peace and security.

Secretary Manalo hosted a luncheon in honor of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and his accompanying delegation.

The meetings was attended by the Kingdom's Ambassador to Philippines, Hisham Al-Qahtani, and the Director-General of the Minister of Foreign Affairs office, Abdulrahman Al-Daoud.
