MAGELANG — Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan has explored new cooperation in cultural opportunities during discussions with German Minister of State for Culture Claudia Roth.

Prince Badr met the German minister on the sidelines of the G20 cultural ministers meeting in Magelang, Indonesia.

Prince Badr praised the cooperation with Germany in the field of visual arts through establishing the artistic journey project of Saudi artists presented by the Goethe-Institut scheduled to take place in September.

He also noted to the possibility of cooperating in the field of preserving heritage and benefiting from German expertise.

The meeting discussed implementation of joint cultural programs, such as the exchange of talents between art and cultural institutions.
