MAGELANG — Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan has invited Cambodian artists and intellectuals to participate in cultural festivals in the Kingdom.

Prince Badr met the Cambodian Minister of Culture and Fine Arts Phoeurng Sackona on the sidelines of the G20 cultural ministers meeting in Magelang, Indonesia.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the two countries in preserving heritage through the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM).

They also discussed cooperation in cultural fields between the two Kingdoms, especially those known by the Kingdom of Cambodia such as handicrafts and costumes.

At the end of the meeting, Prince Badr invited the Cambodian minister to visit the Kingdom, and explore the Saudi cultural landscape, learn about its culture and people.
