RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman congratulated Liz Truss on her appointment as British Prime Minister on Wednesday and wished her success in her new role.

The King congratulated Truss and expressed his best wishes for her success, and wished further progress and prosperity for the friendly people of the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, sent a similar message of congratulations to the UK Premier Liz Truss, on the occasion of her new appointment.

In his cable, the Crown Prince expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes for everlasting good health and happiness to the British premier, and further progress and prosperity to the friendly people of the United Kingdom.
