RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a cable of congratulations to Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, Head of Transitional Military Council and President of the Republic of Chad, on the anniversary of his country's Independence Day.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister, has also sent a cable of congratulations to President Deby on the occasion.

In their separate cables, the King and the Crown wished the President constant good health and happiness and the government and people of Chad steady progress and prosperity. — SPA
